Let us talk with each other and learn about who we are at the International Women's Potluck Lunch on Sunday March 10, from 1 to 3pm at the Arcata Playhouse. Bring your favorite dish, an open mind and a warm heart as we gather together to share our stories and listen to each other. Everyone is welcome.

If you bring a dish to share please mark the contents of your dish clearly in respect of different faiths and dietary restrictions.

Pink Boots Society WomXn’s Beer Tasting

The Pink Boots Society WomXn’s Beer Tasting is back again and proud to be a part of the 02F WomXn’s Festival for the 3rd year in a row. This year’s event is hosted by local beer enthusiasts Sarah McKinney and Johanna Nagan. These two women have been drinking beer together since 2010 and have been celebrating and supporting each other as women in the beer world ever since. You will be guided through a variety of beer styles with delicious nibbles available that draw out the flavors and enhance the experience! This event is a gathering place for women to celebrate beer and each other. Whether you are a seasoned beer drinker or just getting started, there will surely be a style to fit your tastes!

The Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education.

The Humboldt Branch of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom invites you to a night of women's voices featuring Jene McCovey, Yurok elder and EPIC Sempervirens Lifetime Achievement Award winner. Music with the Raging Grannies, Maggie McKnight, Jan Bramlett and Leslie Quinn, and all of us. Vanessa Vrtiak, Renee Saucedo, Elizabeth Conner, Kali Rothrock, and others will share their work and inspire us with stories about women’s lives. Information tables for women and girls.

Sandman: A Murderous Musical

Come see Sandman: a murderous musical on Thursday March 7th at 8 o’clock in the Arcata Playhouse! This 30 minute long play was written and directed by teenagers and is composed of an all teenage cast, crew, and band. The plot is set in the ‘80s in a college town where a murderer is running loose and love is in the air. This show features many songs you will know and love, accompanied by talented musicians. This musical is only possible due to Apprentice Entertainment, a teenage club based in the Arcata Playhouse and led by Sarah McKinney.
